Chiropractic Care for Low Back Pain Essential

Researchers recently compared manual therapy (a primary chiropractic therapy) with exercise therapy (a common supplemental chiropractic therapy) in patients suffering from chronic low back pain. Pain intensity, functional disability, general health and return to work were compared between the two groups. Although significant improvements were observed in both groups, the manual therapy group showed significantly larger improvements. The study results underscores the importance of hands on care that chiropractors are skilled in delivering.
