Don’t Skimp On Office Equipment

A recent study involved assigning office workers to different groups in order to evaluate the health effects of having undergone ergonomic training and use of ergonomic equipment. Data was collected 2 months and 1 month prior to intervention, and 2, 6, and 12 months postintervention. According to their findings, workers who received a highly adjustable chair and office ergonomics training had reduced symptom growth over the workday. No evidence suggested that training alone lowered symptom growth over the workday.
