IBM Develops Public Health Software

IBM has recently developed software enabling U.S. health agencies and private hospitals to more easily exchange life saving medical information. The new software will help public and private health organizations to access electronic networks alerting them to unusual medical patterns. This would assist in identifying the origin and spread of health related problems as well as identifying effective solutions. The government of Canada has also purchased the software for evaluation.
